I’ve been a Sunday Riley fan for as long as I can remember. Their Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment and Luna Sleeping Night Oil are cult faves, and repeat buys for me, for good reason. Plus, I love that Sunday Riley is Houston-based! Yay for amazing products coming out of my hometown in Texas! Since vitamin C products are such a crucial step in any skincare routine (in my opinion), I was excited to try out their C.E.O. 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum and C.E.O. Glow Vitamin C + Turmeric Face Oil.

If dullness or discoloration have been getting you down lately, the C.E.O. 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum is going to be your new BFF. This lightweight serum absorbs quickly into the skin, and works hard to combat visible signs of aging (think wrinkles, loss of firmness, dark spots, etc). It also helps with any redness and sensitivity, which I struggle with a lot this time of year. I’ve found it to be super supportive to my skin’s moisture barrier, leaving me with youthful, glowing skin! Plus, it’s important to note that this serum uses an extremely stable, oil soluble form of vitamin C, so you know you’re getting the best quality available.

After applying the Brightening Serum, I follow it up with C.E.O. Glow Vitamin C + Turmeric Face Oil. Like the serum, this is lightweight and absorbs instantly, which I love. Nothing worse than a face oil that just sits on top of the skin and leaves you feeling greasy! Of course, the same ultra-stable form of vitamin C (THD ascorbate) is at work here fighting fine lines and wrinkles, dullness, discoloration, redness, loss of firmness, and more. Plus, antioxidant-rich turmeric acts as an effective calming and soothing agent. Red raspberry and evening primrose oils join the party, giving your skin the ultimate luminous glow! I'm pretty minimal with my makeup looks. Curled lashes (with or without mascara), concealer where necessary, and a bit of highlighter on my cheek and brow bones makes me feel fresh and not too done. Brighter, more glowing skin always sounds pretty appealing, am I right? Uneven skin tone can be frustrating, and although I try to be diligent in my use of sunscreen and other anti-aging products, sometimes the spots and discoloration still peep through. I’ve been a Tata Harper fan for quite a while now. From the body scrub & balm to the resurfacing serum to the hydrating floral essence, Tata knows what’s up! And things seem to be no different with the Concentrated Brightening Essence. This multi-targeted and hyper-potent essence is the item to grab if you’re seeking a more even, radiant complexion with a super brightening boost. Its correcting power is pretty impressive, as it helps with dullness, dark spots, and uneven skin tone. It’s been extra helpful for me after pregnancy as I’ve developed a bit of postpartum melasma that I keep hearing about. Osmia Organics has been a go-to brand of mine for several years now. Ever since I struggled with perioral dermatitis, it’s been a true skin savior! For a while, I mainly stuck with the Black Clay Facial Soap, Active Gel Toner, and Purely Simple Face Cream since they seemed to work well for my sensitive skin and kept reactions at bay. Soon enough, however, I branched out to try their Brighten Facial Serum, and I’m super glad I did! To me, it’s the perfect serum and oil combo that works to increase cell turnover and improve your skin’s texture. Organic argan and camellia seed oils provide a nourishing base, while broccoli seed and prickly pear oils add that wonderful velvety texture, all while absorbing quickly and not feeling greasy! Active serum components come into play thanks to botanicals like algae and wheatgrass, which help calm irritation and enhance your skin’s natural tone. Papaya, pumpkin, and mushroom extracts keep your skin looking smooth and luminous! I typically apply a few drops of the Brighten Serum right after cleansing and toning, maybe even when my skin is still a bit moist, for better absorption. It also goes on really well under a heavier moisturizer, or even foundation! I love that the small bottle is easy to keep in my bag for anytime, and a little truly goes a long way! Serum, oh serum. I’ve sung the praises of serum many a time on this blog. But that’s because there’s just so many ridiculously good ones! iS Clinical is a brand whose scientifically-advanced, botanically-based ingredients work to improve practically any major skin concern. Their multi-tasking formulas are great for all skin types and ages, and promote cellular regeneration, as well as a brighter, clearer complexion! Many skincare experts choose iS Clinical for their clients, and I now see why. This stuff is totally legit- I’ve already noticed some pretty dramatic results!

In the mornings, I’ve been reaching for the Pro-Heal Serum Advance. This one is a vitamin C-based serum, and great for that extra UV protection. Its healing and reparative properties come thanks to some powerful antioxidants, yet I’ve found this product to be gentle enough for sensitive or irritated skin! The Active Serum is their most popular product, and after seeing how quickly you get results, I totally understand why. It has many anti-aging, anti-blemish, and brightening benefits, and really works to smooth and soften your skin. I like to use this serum at night before bed, and I love the cool, tingling sensation it causes as applied. Whenever I feel like I need an extra boost of moisture, I go for the Hydra-Cool Serum. It works to rejuvenate and hydrate, and feels super refreshing on the skin. I love it post-flight when my skin feels super dehydrated from all that recycled air. You can even mix a bit with your foundation or tinted moisturizer to give you that perfect dewy glow!
