Natura Bissé is a Barcelona-based skincare brand that creates some wonderful, high quality and effective products. Their stabilizing set is one I’d been eyeing for a while, as it seemed like the perfect combo of cleanser, toner/essence, and serum to help combat breakouts or problematic skin. After incorporating this trio into my routine for a while now, I’m definitely loving the results!

The Stabilizing Cleansing Mask can be used as either a daily cleanser as part of your normal routine, or a weekly clarifying mask for something a bit more thorough. Kaolin clay, menthol and zea mays work to gently remove makeup and debris, while salicylic acid helps unclog pores. I love its creamy texture, and thanks to aloe vera, it doesn’t leave your skin feeling stripped or dry.

The Stabilizing Resurfacing Essence is powered by a trio of exfoliating acids, including AHA, PHA & BHA, that work to gently remove dead skin cells and unclog pores. This is great for those with oily or breakout-prone skin, and can be used daily post-cleansing. Whenever my skin is acting hormonal, I reach for this, and apply it with a reusable cotton round all over. I’ve definitely noticed a more even toned and balanced complexion!

Next up is the Stabilizing Anti-Aging Concentrate, which is essentially a firming, oil-control serum that produces “retinol-like” results. Yes please! Once again, three exfoliating acids work their magic to leave you with glowing, radiant skin. I’ve found an overall brighter complexion after incorporating it into my routine for a few weeks! Also important to note- all of these products are careful not to disrupt the skin’s natural pH levels, which can cause further irritation. So key! Definitely look into adding some Natura Bissé to your routine to boost your skin’s overall radiance and glow.

I’ve been a Tata Harper fan for quite a while now. From the body scrub & balm to the resurfacing serum to the hydrating floral essence, Tata knows what’s up! And things seem to be no different with the Concentrated Brightening Essence. This multi-targeted and hyper-potent essence is the item to grab if you’re seeking a more even, radiant complexion with a super brightening boost. Its correcting power is pretty impressive, as it helps with dullness, dark spots, and uneven skin tone. It’s been extra helpful for me after pregnancy as I’ve developed a bit of postpartum melasma that I keep hearing about. I can say that with continued use, the high performance botanical ingredients truly do work their magic. My skin is already looking more even-toned and luminous! I’m a big fan of Tata Harper’s motto- beauty without compromise- because it rings so true in every product I’ve tried. It’s hard to find 100% natural, non-toxic, eco-friendly, cruelty-free skincare that’s not only made with real ingredients, but that actually works! If you’re someone who suffers from hyperpigmentation, whether from sun spots or acne scars, you could probably benefit from a brightening product. Fresh Beauty has got you covered, with their line of Peony Brightening Products. I’ve been testing these out over the last few months, and I’m happy to report they’ve definitely been helping with any uneven tone or discoloration I have. Three potent ingredients- peony root extract, vitamin C glucoside, and licorice root extract- help reduce the appearance of dark spots while promoting skin clarity, leaving you with bright, luminous skin. Hyaluronic acid adds an intensive moisture factor as well.

The Peony Brightening Moisturizing Facial Toner provides 24-hour moisture and keeps your skin baby soft. The silky formula absorbs quickly, priming the complexion for the rest of your skincare routine. The Peony Instant Brightening Face Serum is super smooth, and works to improve uneven skin tone and texture, while also illuminating the skin. I like to apply it to my entire face post-toner, right before moisturizing. The Peony Spot-Correcting Brightening Essence works quite similarly to the serum, but I just think of it as a more concentrated version. It’s perfect for those stubborn dark spots that just won’t seem to go away. I love that these products don’t use extremely harsh ingredients like hydroquinone, but rather stick to natural brightening powerhouses like peony and licorice roots. So much better for your skin, and not to mention your overall health!

Sheet masks are all the rage these days. I’m sure you’ve seen the (slightly eerie looking) selfies posted by models and bloggers alike, faces covered in serum-soaked masks with small cut outs for the eyes and mouth. There are tons of these on the market, but one I continually come back to is cult-favorite SK-II Facial Treatment Mask. Drenched in pitera, this sheet mask immerses your skin in intense hydration, leaving it plumped and renewed. What’s pitera you ask? It’s a bio-ingredient rich in vitamins, organic acids, minerals, and amino acids that work together to enhance skin cell renewal. And yes, that’s the same pitera that’s in SK-II’s Facial Treatment Essence- the same amount of pitera in a 30 mL bottle to be precise!

I love to pop one of these babies on whenever my skin needs a little extra help looking its best. I love a good facial mist any day (as evidenced here, here and here!), but come spring and summertime, when the weather gets a bit warmer, they truly hit the spot. As the temperatures have risen here in Los Angeles over the last few weeks, I've found myself reaching for Fresh Beauty's Black Tea Kombucha Facial Treatment Essence on a pretty regular basis.  This potent age-delay essence is especially helpful for those like me who live in urban areas where smoke and smog can cause oxidative stress to your skin. I mean, who wants accelerated signs of aging?? Not me! Kombucha, another guilty pleasure of mine, is the star ingredient here thanks to vitamins and organic acids that work to protect your skin from pollution and free radicals. My husband and I even learned to make our own kombucha at home, and I highly recommend it!
