A classic, black pajama set designed in a chic menswear-inspired look. Jammies that are just-put-together-enough that you can keep them on all day. What’s not to love?
I’m loving these somewhat retro-looking Air Max Sneakers from Nike. The blush and gold tones give them just the right touch of modern cool-factor.
I’m a huge fan of simple bralettes, and this one is oh so comfortable as well! Plus it comes in multiple colors, so treat yourself to one of each!
With fall on the horizon, I’m so looking forward to layering in cozy sweaters. Anyone else? This chunky knit from Free People makes for a welcome addition to any fall wardrobe.
Silk pillowcases are all the rage lately, and for good reason. They keep you from waking up with sleep lines, allow your skin to breathe, and prevent hair breakage! Not to mention, they’re super soft and pretty to look at!
I’m all about sporty, comfy sweatpants that can double as chic, fashionable trousers. These palazzo pants from Nike are just that, and I love that they can be dressed up with heels and a crop top, or down with sneakers and a tee!
Add this beauty to your kitchen, and it’ll be sure to wow at your next dinner party. It makes a great charcuterie and cheese board, but also works well for desserts!
Wine glasses seem to get broken easily in our house- anyone else? Riedel makes high quality stemware (& stemless glasses) that are great for everyday use.
Chunky knit blankets are like chunky knit sweaters for me- a must! They make any couch or bed feel super cozy, and I love the elevated look they provide.
Nuna car seats are highly rated for good reason- they’re super safe, practical, and functional. What more could you want as a new mom? This one is extremely lightweight as well, which is a huge plus in my book.
Le Labo candles are some of the best of the best. Their scents are to die for, and I’m obsessed with the look of these little concrete votives. Perfect for a bathroom or bedroom.
I always want to be a hat person- they’re such an easy way to take your ensemble to the next level. Stylish fedoras like this one are easy to throw on with jeans or a cute dress!
I've rounded up my go-to brands for all your fitness needs! From activewear to athleisure, these leggings, sports bras and exercise tops are some of my fave pieces to wear, whether I'm taking a pilates class, playing tennis, going for a hike, or just hanging at home! They are cute, comfortable and sweatproof, making them ideal for any workout or activity you may be into. Now get moving!
Varley is a newer-to-me brand, but I’m pumped that I finally discovered them! I’m typically more of a black-on-black workout attire gal, but I went a bit out of my comfort zone with these pieces, and for good reason. The Irena Bra and Duncan Leggings in Lead Cheetah print are loud in a good way- I love the somewhat more neutral cheetah theme- and super cute! They’re so comfy, but fit nice and sleek with a great amount of support, so you aren’t having to constantly readjust as you move around. These are equally good for a tennis match as they are for lounging at home- they’re that soft!
Another Varley set I’ve been loving is the Berkeley Racerback Sports Bra and Figueroa Leggings in Evergreen. These are ideal for any sweaty activity thanks to their four-way stretch and sweat-wicking technology! The pieces move with your body, and help keep you dry throughout any workout. There’s even reflective details on the back and side pockets, so you can feel safe while out for that sunrise or sunset run as well! Plus, I’m obsessed with this olive green color.
Live the Process has been a favorite of mine for some time now, and I love how simple, yet chic their pieces are. I feel comfortable wearing my LTP looks straight from pilates to brunch to errands, with no changes needed in between! The Corset Bra and Geometric Leggings in black have seen me through many a barre class and baking project- they’re also great for cozying up on the couch with my laptop to get some writing done! I love how high-waisted the leggings are, giving the bra almost more of a crop-top feel. For that reason, I will usually just rock the look as-is, or with a knit sweater or cozy tank thrown on top when I’m out and about. Just a heads up- it looks like SSense is having a major sale right now too! Hmm what should I try next!?
Outdoor Voices makes sleek and chic sets and separates in lots of cute colors. I love their tagline, Technical Apparel for Recreation, because it really is as simple as that! Their Athena Crop and Warmup Leggings in navy are always in my rotation, and for good reason. They fit tight, but not in an uncomfortable way, and keep everything nicely contained. Plus, the leggings are super long. Yay! Thinking I need to invest in some Warmup Shorts for summer soon too… I always have a Project Social T tee or sweater nearby (or tied around my waist!)- they make high-quality, yet affordable basics you can throw on for anything from workouts to lunch to meetings. The Under The Sun Sweatshirt comes in a trendy tie dye print, and is a fun way to spruce out an otherwise simple look. I also have The Wearever Tee in multiple colors, and must say it’s the ideal simple piece to add to your wardrobe.
PS- A few other activewear looks, including my all-time fave super comfy Beyond Yoga leggings, are featured on my quarantine fashion // britt’s stay-home looks post. The SpaceDye Leggings come in full length, capri, and tri-panel, and I highly recommend treating yourself to a pair (or two). They’re that good, and the best for an at-home yoga session! So be sure to check out that post as well, if you haven’t already. Happy exercising, y’all!
Hey y’all! How’s your quarantine going? While things can seem all too frustrating and overwhelming at times, I have found that fashion and beauty can be just the distraction I need. I’ve rounded up my go-to looks and ensembles as of late- from comfy sweatpants and a simple bra, to a jumpsuit that makes you look totally put together with minimal effort, to activewear that works equally as well for exercise as it does for lounging, I’ve got you covered! I hope this can provide you a much-needed distraction from the crazy times we currently find ourselves living in, and bonus points if you end up treating yourself to a new outfit!
Now I’ll be the first to admit- there have been few days where I venture to put on something more than leggings or sweatpants. But on the days I do, boy does it make me feel good! This NURSE-TO-ERRANDS ONESIE by Hatch Collection is great for nursing mamas, but equally amazing for those who don’t have a little one jonesing for your boob every few hours ;) It is so comfortable, can easily be dressed up or down, and makes it look like you put a lot of effort into your outfit, mom or not. I mean, for real, this jumpsuit still manages to look chic paired with a mask for pete’s sake!
As good as it feels to actually get dressed in real clothes, I’m also not above staying in a nightgown all the live long day. This ORGANIC POINTELLE NIGHTGOWN transitions from bed to breakfast to afternoon happy hour seamlessly, and is oh so cozy to boot! Although Hatch Collection is technically a maternity brand, I love that their pieces work equally well before baby, post-baby, or even if there’s no baby to speak of!
I love me some activewear, whether I plan to actually be active or not, and I tend to gravitate towards the comfiest brands out there. I’ve been a big Beyond Yoga fan for a while, and their SPACEDYE HIGH-WAISTED MIDI LEGGINGS are some of my faves. They truly feel like butter on the skin, and I find them to be the perfect legging for lower intensity workouts like pilates, barre, or yoga. Same goes for this RIB SUPPORT TANK by Alo Yoga. This baby has been in my rotation for quite a while, and it’s a great everyday top for a workout class or running errands. Plus, it comes in a bunch of colors, so stock up!
For chilly mornings here in LA, a warm sweater tossed over leggings or a nightgown is pretty much my go-to look. This SPENCER PULLOVER by Varley is the perfect comfy layering piece. It’s sporty yet chic, and I’m a big fan of the cozy sherpa finish, faux suede accents, and oversized collar!
Loungewear is truly where it’s at during these endless quarantine days. A simple bra or cami, sweatpants, plus a onesie for the baby, and you’re good to go! THE ESSENTIAL PUMPING BRA by Hatch Collection is seamless, hardware-free, and made in a super soft modal fabric, which makes me want to wear it 24/7 (and I practically do!). Whether you’re pumping or not, this is one comfortable, yet still super supportive bra. I love to sleep in it, along with the matching SEAMLESS BELLY BRIEF, and then in the morning, all I have to do is add THE OVER/UNDER LOUNGE PANT. Super stretchy and with an option to wear them high-waisted or folded down around the hips, these are perfect for my pregnant mamas, or those of us partaking in an excess amount of quarantine baking and eating ;) Yet again, Hatch showing us they’re made for all us ladies!
When I don’t want to think about getting baby Dylan dressed in a precious, coordinated little outfit (of which we have many!), a footed onesie is super easy, and still totally adorable! We have this ORGANIC COTTON FOOTED OVERALL by L’ovedbaby in so many colors and sizes, and I’m about to order a few more since someone is growing like crazy lately. Their ORGANIC COTTON SHORT-SLEEVE KIMONO BODYSUIT is a fave as well.
Couch life is the best life, am I right? For those days that you just want to relax and watch Netflix or read all day, comfortable, easy pieces are an absolute necessity. I have several pairs of black leggings in my rotation, and this ONE-LUXE 7/8 TIGHT by Nike is one of the best. The smooth compression fabric is soft and seamless, and I love how the mid-rise waistband hits at just the right spot. Paired with the SEAMLESS MATERNITY & NURSING SPORTS BRA by Ingrid & Isabel makes for the ideal lounging ensemble. Plus, if breastfeeding is your thing, the front hooks make for easy nursing accessibility. I also love that it’s a bit longer than your average sports bra, so can be worn alone as a cute crop top!
And finally, a simple cami is a wardrobe standard over here. The RIBBED COTTON TANK by re/done is inspired by the classic undershirts that we all know and love, but made in a far superior quality. It comes in multiple colors, and can easily be worn as a layering piece under another blouse or sweater. Or keep it simple (and bare!) on its own- either way, I bet you’ll find yourself grabbing for this tank on repeat :)
Stay cozy. Stay safe. Stay home, y’all! xoxo
